NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase, payment, or account opening will not increase chances of winning.
1. Sponsor
Metro Credit Union (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
The Refer & Roam New Account Referral Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to existing Metro Credit Union members who are 18 years of age or older and legal residents of Missouri at the time of entry. Referring members must be in good standing with Metro Credit Union. Employees, officials, and members of the Board of Directors of Metro Credit Union, and their immediate family members or household members, are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
3. Promotion Period
The Sweepstakes begins February 1, 2026, and ends April 3, 2026 (“Promotion Period”). Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. CT on April 3, 2026.
4. How to Enter
There are two (2) ways to enter. Odds of winning are the same regardless of entry method.
A. Referral Entry
An existing Metro Credit Union member may earn one (1) entry for each qualified referral that results in a new member account opening during the Promotion Period.
- New member must not have previously held a Metro Credit Union membership.
- Account may be opened online or in-branch.
- Account must be verified and in good standing.
- Normal minimum opening deposit requirements may apply.
The new member who opens the account will also receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.
B. Free Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE)
To enter without referring a friend or opening an account, an eligible member may submit a free entry by completing the entry form available at either location, 3868 South Ave Springfield, MO 65807, or 447 S. Campbell Ave Springfield, MO 65806
- Limit one (1) free entry per member per day
- No purchase, referral, or account opening required
5. Prize
One (1) $1,000 Travel Gift Card (Approximate Retail Value “ARV”: $1,000).
The gift card may be used toward airfare, hotels, cruises, or vacation packages, subject to issuer terms and conditions. No cash substitution. Prize is non-transferable.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted on April 9, 2026, at the Metro Credit Union Annual Meeting. Winner need not be present to win.
Winner will be notified by phone and/or email within a reasonable time following the drawing. If the selected winner cannot be contacted or is deemed ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.
7. Odds
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
8. Taxes
Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize receipt. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued for the prize value.
9. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final.
10. Privacy
Information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used in accordance with Metro Credit Union’s privacy policy.
